If you want to find the treasure, then you need a map. Its the same as when you want to achieve success on any scale, then you need to have a plan. Sitting an thinking about it is not going to get you anywhere fast.
Just like the study done with the Harvard Business School where the persons who wrote their goals down and had a plan made 10 times as much as the other 97% of the class combined. So you know, the 97% consisted of people who just thought of their goals or they wrote their goals down however no one in the group actually had a plan.
The awesome thing about plans in addition to providing clarity is, they can be tweaked, enhanced and changed. Unless you are making a souffle, there is really no need to be rigid with a plan. There is a certain amount of flexibility allowed. The one thing you should avoid at all cost is quitting. Giving up on the plan will definitely get you nowhere.
You must also realize a plan doesn’t work unless you work the plan. There is no avoiding doing the work which is the only way to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
If you find yourself not working the plan or giving up on the plan, then you need to ask yourself the tough question. How badly do you want the dream, goal or new reality? Your why has to be so big that it pushes you forward towards achieving your goal.
You know you have a good plan when you follow the clues left by other successful people who have paved the way before you. These clues can be found in books, courses, coaches and mentors. The bottom line is to win, you must know what you want, plan, take action, watch the results and persist till successful.
