OK, so you have a goal you want to achieve or a dream you want to make a reality. That’s fantastic, you have made a decision, you took the time to put together and awesome plan. What’s next?
Great question…. Its all about action my friends. Not the half-hearted, mediocre, hitting the snooze button 20 times, I got something better to do on a Friday night type of action. That type of action will get you no where fast like a shuttle to the moon. I am talking about the focused, kick butt, take no prisoners, consistent, daily action which will create an avalanche of positive results.
There is nothing complicated about the formula. What action can you consistently take daily which will bring you closer to achieving your goal? Once you have figured out what action is required… then go ahead and do it until you achieve success.
This is exactly what Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen did with their first book Chicken Soup For The Soul. They took 5 specific action every day for almost 2 years which would bring them closer to their goal of becoming a New York Times Bestseller.
Jack Canfield calls this simple strategy The Rule Of 5. What were the results… to date the Chicken Soup For The Soul is recognized as a publishing phenomenon with over 123 million copies sold. Yep you read that right, 123 million copies sold which makes for one heck of a success avalanche.
I went on a mission finding similar stories of people who took that kind of massive action. You can listen to the highlights of those story in the podcast or you can check out the detailed versions in the links below.
These stories of great achievement bordering on the line of being so far out there, you would probably think they came from the wild imagination of a 2 year old. Honestly, I couldn’t make this stuff up even if I tried, that’s why I posted the links below so you can see for yourself.
Really, why are these stories so unbelievable? One simple reason, because the persons involved took the type of action the average person is not willing to do. This is very similar to the following quote by Les Brown. “You must be willing to do the things today others won’t do, in order to have the things tomorrow others won’t have.”
For all of you who say you don’t have the time. I understand, however I have a question for you. How badly do you want your dream or goal? That bad huh? Then you only have one option which is to made the time… make it happen.
Ideally it would be awesome if you did 5 things daily however, doing one thing is a way better number than doing doing zero, nada, zilch. It will take you longer to get to the end of the journey. The great news is if you persist you will get there eventually. I challenge you to do at least one thing daily towards you goal so you too can experience your own personal avalanche of positive results.
Love Peace and Bliss
