The key word here is allow and sometimes it seems as if there isn’t any other option when the day is spiralling out of control because of people and events.
There is an option and its your choice whether or not you choose to let others or yourself create your day. One powerful way to create your day is to set an intention. As soon as you are awake in the morning, take 10 mins to set the tone for the day by being grateful. That will put you on a mental high… write 5 things you are grateful for in life.
Then set the intention that today is going to be a fantastic day and I will do everything in my power to ensure that it remains that way.
Think about the types of things you’d like to experience that day. How would you like your workday to go?
What kind of people would you like to meet?
Would you like to receive some great opportunities to advance your career or financial situation?
How would you like to feel for the majority of your day?
Take note of what the day will look like. Then vividly visualize everything going your way… exactly as you would like it to happen.
Pretend you’re watching a movie in your mind, seeing it all play out exactly as you’d like it to. At the end of this process you will feel so energized and excited to face your day. I like to think of it like buzzing with a natural high.
Most importantly, allow yourself to feel as if they were actually happening now. Immerse yourself in feelings of excitement, joy, happiness and gratitude as you enjoy one great experience after another. Use this same process for every experience you’d like to have that day.
I have found in the most stressful of situations that my day goes perfectly when an intention is set and things magically work out. Yes I said the ‘M’ word and I will say it again. Things just magically workout, Jack Canfield suggest to become and inverse paranoid. Believe the world is plotting to do you good.
I believe the world is plotting to do me good today and I can’t wait to see what it is.
Some key points to remember:
Avoid getting attached to specific events and experiences
Stay open to whatever comes and be willing to find a solution
Keep focused on affirming that only great things will happen to you that day
Feel great about all of the blessings and abundance in your life.
At the same time, avoid getting entangled in feelings of worry, anxiety, frustration, and anger as much as possible throughout the day because those feelings will interfere with the positive energy you’ve already put out.
It might seem like a lot of hard work to some… however its worth it in the end to have a beautiful stress free day that seems to be in the flow. Take a couple of minutes as often as you can remember and call to mind images of the things you visualized earlier, allowing good feelings to flow over you again. Tap into your inner inverse paranoid even if you can’t see it yet. It takes practice and have faith.
With daily use of this process, you’ll eventually start to notice good things starting to happen on a regular basis. You’ll find yourself being in the “right place at the right time” and generally enjoying greater opportunities and abundance in all areas of your life.
