A Kick Butt Way To Conquer Fear

This is a new perspective on conquering fear and one I have never really considered. However the more I look at it and my past experiences, the more I can see the truth lying within. What if the root of all fear can be linked to a lack of understanding?

It can be unsettling facing your fears. Most times your fear plays out much worse in your head than in reality. Usually the more understanding you have of the circumstances around our fear, the less fear you feel.

Procrastination can also be tied into fear. You know you should do something, yet you put it off and off because of fear. What is the one thing you can do to conquer this fear… the fear that has you procrastinating or that stopped you in your tracks from going after you goals/dreams.

There is only one thing you can do and that’s taking action. Only by digging in and taking action can you truly conquer fear. This brings up my favorite phrases when it comes to fear.

Feel the fear and do it anyway

Screw it, Lets do it

Just do it

Oh what the heck, go for it anyway

Acting in spite of fear requires a certain boldness or courage. Usually the first step is the hardest and once you have started… you wonder what were you worried about all along. The bottom line is allowing fear to stop you is just another…

…way of extending the time it will take to achieve your goals or make your dreams a reality. I hate waiting and I am sure you do too so why delay taking action on you dreams just because of fear?

It pays to be bold. Look at the most successful people out there. They had be bold to present their ideas to the world. That doesn’t mean they lack fear. They just feel the fear and take fear along for the ride while they take action.

I know Grant Cardone actually uses fear as a litmus test to determine if he is pushing hard enough towards his goal. His theory is he only feels fear when he is operating outside of his comfort zone as he knows success is just outside your comfort-zone.

At the end of the day you only have two choices, act in spite of fear or look back in regret because you allowed fear to stop you from taking action. Which one do you choose?
